Donna Lawlor holds a CI/CT, NAD III national certifications and currently is an active member of Louisville Baptist Deaf Church since 1993 where she does receptive interpreting and serves as the church clerk. Donna retired from Bullitt County Schools where she worked as an Educational Interpreter and mentored many interpreting students. Donna has served as the RID Region III Representative for IEIS (Interpreters in Educational and Instructional Settings). She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson-Newman College (1978) as a Spanish Educator and her Master of Arts in Missiology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2014). She is the Chair of the Education Committee of the Southern Baptist Conference of the Deaf, and serves as Time and Place for the Kentucky Baptist Conference of the Deaf.
